A junior agent at Writers House since 2018, Erica McGrath has worked closely with the contracts department and senior agents Stephen Barr and Susan Cohen, gaining experience with award-winning authors and illustrators. She studied Visual Arts and English at SUNY New Paltz and previously interned at not-for-profit art organizations. She is actively growing her list of adult and children's books across all age ranges.

The email subject line should contain "query", and please include a query letter, synopsis, and approximately 10-15 sample pages of your work (or sample artwork/manuscript for picture book and graphic novel submissions.) She reads and responds to each query and will do her best to get back to you within 8 weeks' time. NOTE: She will be temporarily closed to unsolicited queries starting May 1, 2025. Any queries sent on or before 5/1 will be honored. All other queries will be deleted without reading.
