Zoe Sandler is a literary agent now at Sanford J. Greenburger Associates (SJGA), having previously spent over a decade at ICM Partners (now CAA), where she started as a royalties assistant, apprenticed under a veteran agent, and built her own list. She began her career in academic publishing at Carolina Academic Press after graduating from McGill University with a joint BA in English Literature and Hispanic Studies. She represents unconventional commercial fiction (crime, suspense, thrillers, quirky middle grade humor, voice-driven contemporary, YA speculative with magical realism), narrative nonfiction by female journalists (sciences, environment, medicine, food policy), and select children's books. Notable achievements include New York Times and National Bestsellers, Reese's Book Club Pick, Anthony/Macavity/Shamus Award winner, and Rachel Carson Environment Book Award winner among former clients' works. Born in England, raised in California, she lives in New York.
