Uplifting stories for all age groups, with a focus on underrepresented voices and strong character development. Preference for lyrical prose, memorable characters, and unique storytelling in both fiction and graphic novels.
Laura Gruszka is a junior agent at Writers House who has worked closely with celebrated children's book authors and illustrators under the mentorship of senior agent Rebecca Sherman for over four years. She is now building her own list with a focus on uplifting traditionally underrepresented voices and stories in publishing across children's and adult categories.
